"I became a Barbershopper in 1992 and a Quartet member in 1993. I have been in both ever since. I have been lucky to have competed on the International Stage with The Thoroughbreds a number of times and have a 5th place medal from 1999. I also competed at the District Level in two quartets, Finish Line and It's Time. In 2012, It's Time was the District Senior Champ. I have been the Annual Show Chairperson for several years, and have been Chorus Manager and Chapter Quartet Liaison. Barbershopping is a hobby that is fun, fulfilling and full of friends. I have been blessed with my wife, Margaret, three daughters and their husbands who have given us seven grandsons to enjoy for the rest of our lives. My motto for life: "Stay Happy!""
